DESK PLATE SPARE PARTS
Description
The work sign is made of a single sheet of plywood, A’ quality, class E1. The total thickness of the sheet, (veneers and glue), is at least 18mm. The total number of veneers (layers) of the above plywood is nine (9) as a minimum. The outer surfaces of the leaf (face – back) are made of beech or okume wood veneer, one-piece, excellent quality, minimum thickness 0.8 mm. The intermediate layers of the plywood sheet consist of at least seven (7) veneers of poplar (or okume or formazer or limba or nyangon) alternated with beech or okume and with the grain of the wood between them. The bonding of all veneers is done with a special glue (e.g. phenolic or melamine). The sign’s surfaces are completely flat and smooth, and on top of them are glued single sheets of excellent quality, first-class HPL, at least 1.2 mm thick. The welding of the HPL sheets with the plywood sheet is done with appropriate pressure and temperature with a special non-toxic glue, with special care so that the HPL sheet does not detach or swell. The four corners of the work plate are rounded with a radius of curvature of approximately 3cm.
